"CHOCOMOLE" a.k.a the easiest raw vegan Chocolate pudding!

"Now what the heck is Chocomole?", you might be wondering. "Is it really guacamole but with chocolate?!"

Basically, yes.

This, my friends, is chocolate pudding (raw vegan, dairy-free, 100% plant-based) and it is made of only 3 things: avocado, banana, cacao powder all mashed together. Well, and 1 tsp of sweetener and a pinch of spices, but that's completely optional. I just had a super ripe avocado lying around in the kitchen, and a super ripe banana. Now i got a nice bowl of CHOCOLATE PUDDING waiting to be devoured, how awesome is that?!

Actually, i did a post on chocolate pudding a year ago called the 5-Minute Chocolate Pudding {dairy-free}, and now that i think about it i actually did another one called Raw Love Parfait for Valentine's Day, but none of these versions are identical - and also: One can never get enough of chocolate pudding!! :)

Anyway, here's the recipe:

CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Preparation time: 5 mins (+ ideally 30 mins refrigeration)
Main ingredients: cacao, avocado, banana
difficulty level: easy
serves: 1
suitable for: vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, nut-free, paleo, raw food, and delicious "even so"

Ingredients

1 ripe avocado
2 ripe bananas OR 1/2 cup soaked dates OR 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsp raw cacao powder
pinch of sea salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)


also:
fresh strawberries (or other fruit), as many as you want!

...after blending...
...and after 1/2 hour of refrigeration! - "CHOCOMOLE" - Yum yum yum!

Instructions

This is so easy, i don't even want to call it a recipe: So basically you combine avocado, banana and cacao powder in a blender or food processor (you can even use an immersion blender for this! Heck, even a fork if you're desperate and want to build up arm muscles!) and process until smooth and creamy-thick. 

This time i added a pinch of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of organic honey (use agave syrup or other sweetener if vegan) for a little extra kick!

Set aside the pudding in the refrigerator to chill. After 15-30 minutes you'll notice the pudding changing colour! It will get darker, thicker, more chocolaty. I ate mine for breakfast with a handful of sliced strawberries :)
