Green Jungle Smoothie

reading time: ca. 1 min

Happy July 4 to those of you living in the USA!
As you can see, it's not a red-white-blue but a green day for me :)

Preparation time: 5 mins
Main ingredients: banana, spinach
difficulty level: easy
makes: ~ 1000ml
suitable for: vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, nut-free, paleo, raw food, and delicious "even so"

It's no secret that i am a fan of green smoothies (it's seriously the best way to get a whole lot of amazing nutrients in your body before the day has even really begun), and since i recently read Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book i thought it would be perfect to make a Jungle-themed smoothie.

Ingredients

3-4 ripe Bananas
1 cup baby spinach
Coconut water or water, as needed
shredded coconut to garnish

Blend, sprinkle with coconut shreds, grab a good book and enjoy - whilst reading The Jungle Book of course :)

Also, i want to thank the lovely Jamie @ Love Bakes Good Cakes for featuring me in her Summer Drinks roundup!
