Back To School Outfit Ideas | Monday Through Friday

reading time: 2 min

School's about to start soon. Who's ready?

I graduated from highschool back in 2011, but if I were still to go to school, this is what I would wear!

Here in Germany we don't really have dress codes at school, but I know that most schools in the United States and also in England have rather strict dress codes in highschool and college, so I tried sticking with the dress code with all of my outfits, and I hope I did a good job :)

(MONDAY)

Starting off the week with something comfortable and solid, I'm opting for my favourite pair of black skinny jeans (feel free to switch those out for some shorts instead if your dress code allows it) and a striped shirt that I finished off with a denim blouse and sneakers.

skinny jeans: Yessica
top: H&M (thrifted)
denim blouse: H&M (thrifted)
canvas shoes: Uptown (thrifted)

(TUESDAY)

For Tuesday I went for a pair of
ripped skinny jeans with a white graphic tee and white canvas shoes. A classic combo that fits any school occasion. For a less casual look switch out the shirt for a white blouse.

skinny jeans: Vero Moda (thrifted – I added the distressed knee slits)
t-shirt: Manda

canvas shoes: Uptown (thrifted)
backpack: AEVOR (borrowed)

(WEDNESDAY)

For humpday I love something super casual and comfy that's still cute and fashionable (kind of). For example this striped t-shirt dress and black or white sneakers. That takes like 10 seconds to get dressed!

t-shirt dress: H&M (thrifted)
sneakers: Nike (inherited" from my granny)
backpack: AEVOR (borrowed)

(THURSDAY)

This must be the most comfortable and laid-back outfit of them all: black leggings paired with my beloved baby blue hoodie and sneakers. Sporty, comfy, and cool.

leggings: H&M (thrifted)
hoodie: L.O.G.G. (thrifted)

sneakers: Nike ("inherited" from my granny)
backpack: AEVOR (borrowed)

(FRIDAY)

On Fridays you want to have an outfit that transitions well from day to night when you go out with friends to a club, or to the cinema, a date, or whatever. In my case that is a black skirt, a simple white tee (that can be replaced by something more party-appropriate/sexy/romantic after school if needed), and my black ancle booties. If it's chilly in your class room throw on a jean jacket.

skirt: Vila (thrifted)
t-shirt: Gina Tricot (thrifted)

chelsea boots: Atmosphere (thrifted)
denim jacket: H&M (thrifted)
