[Since i was working on my bachelor thesis over the past few weeks, i didn't have much time to delve into a book, except for this handful of oldies: The Clown by Heinrich Böll (doesn't the cover remind you of Batman's Joker?!), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams (so frickin funny! especially with Martin Freeman's voice in mind), Fiesta by Ernest Hemingway (my very first Hemingway!), The Sanctuary Sparrow by Ellis Peters and An Excellent Mystery by Ellis Peters (i do love me some light fiction every now and then :))]

[Nope, these are no cookie monster cupcakes. They are kind of cute though, and fun to make. Can you guess which movie they're from? i'll give you a hint: Despicable Me. We even included some one-eyed ones! They look like aliens, but hey... this is probably the easiest recipe for Minion Muffins: 1) make any type of muffins. 2) cover with blue buttercream icing. 3) top with a white chocolate marshmallow. 4) "glue" eyes to it. We're still going to make some proper cookie monster cupcakes though!]

46. Write a song (and sing it to somebody)
47. Write a poem
48. Make a handmade greeting card []

[Now i can finally tick it off the list properly! For my friend K's birthday earlier this month i crafted this BIRTHDAY BEAR postcard by cutting out a brown bear silhouette and 3 balloons (1 heart-shaped!). i then used a piece of sewing thread to make the balloon straps, and glued the bear onto the card stock. Oh, and i also glued a little stumpy tail to his butt. The "3-D effect" was created by rolling up little pieces of Sellotape, the sticky side facing outwards, and sticking them between card and balloons, making it look like the balloons are floating in midair. Neat, right?]

It's a very pretty sunrise though, isn't it? And also i didn't want my effort to get up at half past five to be to no purpose, lol.
